Rancho Santa Fe lies about 16 miles west of our Poway shop, a straightforward run out Del Dios Highway through the hills toward the coast. The Covenant’s wooded lanes and long private drives mean careful routing, but it is well inside our core service area.

Rancho Santa Fe is estate country at the highest level. The historic Covenant is full of large multi-wing homes on multi-acre lots, and many run not one system but several — a bank of condensers and air handlers coordinated across a whole-estate mechanical room.

That scale changes the work entirely. Servicing an estate here is closer to light-commercial mechanical work than a typical house call, and it rewards a contractor who can think about an entire coordinated system rather than a single furnace and coil.

We service these estates as coordinated systems. In February 2025 we took over service on a five-system Covenant estate off Via de Santa Fe where two air handlers were fighting each other and no one had mapped the controls in years. We documented every unit, rebalanced the zoning, and upgraded the two failing systems to high-efficiency equipment — one coordinated plan instead of piecemeal fixes.
